When it comes to your health, there’s no aspect that’s more
important than sleep. When you’re regularly getting the recommended amount of sleep
— that’s at least 7 to 9 hours a night — your body has everything it needs to
function properly. Sleep can have a big impact on your metabolism, energy
levels and even your ability to make healthy food choices. If you’re trying to
lose weight, get plenty of sleep each night. Lack of sleep can make you crave
high-calorie foods. It can also cause you to feel hungrier throughout the day —
which could lead to overeating.
